Today was D-Day for young Zulu and Alan, his new guardian. Alan, Di, Rebecca and Simon spent some time getting to know him, and before too long had loaded him up in their car and left for Johannesburg where he is to live. Alan is hoping to be able to do field trials with him so we will see him from time to time.
In fact, he informed me when I phoned to find out how the trip went and how he had settled, that he couldn’t help himself and that Zulu had already had three retrieves in the passage. Picked up and delivered to hand. That’s my boy!
I’m hoping to be able to post a pic of Alan and Zulu in the near future. I’m afraid that taking pics of the family were furthest from my mind on Tuesday 🙂
